My Story

I was grew up in West Seneca, New York with my three sisters. I attended St. Francis High School in Athol Springs and Medaille College in Buffalo. I completed my bachelors degree in psychology with a minor in sports and recreation. When I finished my undergrad degree, I realized that teaching was the perfect career for me and what I wanted to do. I stayed at Medaille College and completed my masters degree in education. Since then, I have had the opportunity to work in a variety of classrooms with students of all ages.

What Brings Me Joy

I get joy from trying new things and staying active. I love to play and watch all sports. I also get joy from sharing my experiences and knowledge of sports and physical activity with others.

What I'm Good At

Throughout my life, I had the opportunity to play many sports including football, basketball, baseball, and track at St. Francis High School and lacrosse and cross country at Medaille College. I continue play sports and stay active in my community today. I also feel that I am good at working with others and helping everyone reach their goals.

What the World Needs

The world needs more understanding and empathy. Everyone is unique in their own way and we should celebrate our differences and see them as a positive.

Why Commons?

Buffalo Commons Charter School is a place where students will be able to realize their full potential. This school will provide an environment that is caring and open-minded. Everyone will have the opportunity to be themselves and to accomplish things they never thought possible before.
