I chose Buffalo Commons because I felt the strong connection to the community

My Story

I was born and raised in Niagara Falls, NY. I was one who always loved school and was always eager to learn. Growing up, I was always one to be reading as well as playing sports, of course keeping my parents busy! As a recent grad from Niagara University, I am eager to get the ground running and continue my passion of education.

What Brings Me Joy

A lot of things bring me joy in life, including my family, friends and books! I am an avid reader and find joy in reading novels everyday. I also find a lot of joy in the outdoors, whether that's hiking or a beach day.

What I'm Good At

I'm good at getting to the point and making meaningful decisions when it comes to my work. I believe in asking questions when I don't know something and self advocating in those situations. I am able to be perceptive towards others and allow others to feel heard around me. Being genuine and emotionally aware are also two great traits I have.

What the World Needs

The world needs people who care beyond themselves and think critically. People should be able to question what is around them without backlash that they may be wrong. In doing so, the world needs people who listen while showing kindness to others.

Why Commons?

I chose Buffalo Commons because I felt the strong connection to the community and deep understanding of those around. I felt as though I could grow with the school while also investing in myself and my students.
